Joint Warfighter Range Complex

  • Joint Warfighter Range Complex is comprised of approximately:
    - 70,000 terraqueous ground acres with a matrix of roadways
    - 50 miles of shoreline with controlled waterways
    - Unlimited airspace
    - Real-time meteorological support
    - National data/information transfer and archiving
  • DoD’s focus toward power projection for both air and ground assault, dominant maneuver, and littoral warfare are supported utilizing:
    - Open air ranges (automotive, direct fire weapons, systems live fire, chem/bio simulant, close quarters battle platforms, natural waterways, and closed, live fire waterways)
    - Modular instrumentation suites
    - Traditional laboratories with advanced/technical tools
    - Fabrication facilities
    - Both domestic and foreign land- and sea-based targets and threats
    - C5A airfield
    - Working shipyard
