  • Environmentally safe enclosed facility for testing weapons and targets that have components made from depleted uranium (DU)
  • Threats may be gun, rocket sled, compressed air launched, or statically detonated
  • Dynamic firing into the vessel (up to 200 meters from target)
  • High-speed flight input door (56-millisecond closure) to seal vessel
  • Capable of testing full-sized armored vehicles
  • Designed to withstand 100 pounds of TNT blast equivalency or 600 pounds of propellant
  • Extensive instrumentation includes flash X-ray, video and high-speed photography, velocity, temperature, toxic fumes, acceleration, shock, and vibration
  • Asset protection system (water-foam)
  • Air quality monitoring (real-time)
