Welcome...

The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) is located on Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), the nation’s oldest proving ground, established in 1917. It is located in the northeast portion of Maryland in Harford County, on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay. ATC consists of about 79,000 acres of land and water, with low-lying marshes, flat meadows and woodland, and gently rolling hills. The waters of the Chesapeake Bay, the Gunpowder and Bush rivers, as well as numerous creeks and ponds, comprise nearly half of the area owned or leased by the installation, which has about 103 miles of shoreline.

The local area is well served by an extensive network of county, state and federal road systems, with easy access to Interstate 95. Two military airfields serve the installation and the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is less than an hour’s drive to the southwest. There is an Amtrak station in the nearby town of Aberdeen and the government-operated railroad system on APG connects with the commercial system there.

This is a Department of Defense (DoD) Computer System.
